Michele Corey Interim President & CEO. With 14 years of experience at Michigan’s Children, Michele has created numerous opportunities for local advocates to become better informed about children’s issues and communicate effectively with local, state, and federal level policymakers. Michele has been a leader in statewide dropout and recovery initiatives focused on producing multiple pathways to graduation by growing better data about young people and the systems that serve them, providing better educational options for young people, and building public support for policy and practice that sustain those options.  As Interim President and CEO, Michele will oversee all of Michigan’s Children’s programs and operations.

Mina Hong – Senior Policy Associate.  Mina is responsible for monitoring federal and state policies affecting children, producing policy analyses and briefs, and disseminating information to Michigan’s Children’s networks. She is also responsible for providing a variety of assistance to communities to build their capacity for advocacy work, including preparing policy products for local use, training in advocacy skills and facilitation of advocacy opportunities.
